Refund and Returns Policy

I want to preface my refund and returns policy with a quick explanation that it may sound terse and aggressive, but I only mean to be direct and clear so that there are no misunderstandings. My goal is to provide amazing customer service and I want you to be happy with your Zoned In Studio experience. I have had amazing history so far with regards to my customers and clients and want to continue that legacy. Please don’t mistake my following direct language for anything other than being clear and protective of myself against the few bad actors in the world 🙂

I will be as fair as possible when it comes to any issues when it comes to my products. That being said, I am a one-person business and I put 1,000% effort into everything I create. I want you to like what I create, but I cannot afford the time, energy, or money to create or recreate the impossible. I am not Target, Amazon, or Apple. I do not mass produce anything, nor can I afford to just take a hit and have a loose or generous returns policy.

Pottery: There are no refunds or returns. Each piece is handmade personally by me and I take precautions each step of the way to ensure each piece is high quality and safe for its intended use. If your piece is broken in the shipping process, I will do my best to make a new piece of equal quality and value. Estimated timeframe is 4-6 weeks to complete the replacement piece unless there are extenuating circumstances.

If you truly don’t like a piece I’ve made for you, you can return it to me (shipping at your expense and it must be packed well in order to survive transit), and I will replace it with another of equal value upon receipt of the original piece fully intact within 30 days of your receipt of the item according to tracking. That way I can resell the item to someone who will enjoy the piece and you can have a different piece that you will also enjoy. Everybody wins!

Digital Downloads and Astrology Readings: No refunds. Because the product can be immediately consumed upon purchase, there are no refunds. All digital downloads will require you to stream video and if you do not have sufficient internet service to do so, that is out of my hands. I will do my best to help support any technical issues that you may encounter.

For any other products: Refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

All refunds will be less the shipping costs.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you will be given a physical mailing address at the time of the return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
